Faith-based education for all
At Mater Dei Catholic Primary School, we offer a transformative, faith-based education grounded in the Wagga Wagga Catholic Charter pillars of welcome, faith, service, and learning. Our holistic approach nurtures each student’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual growth in a supportive environment.
Our expert teaching team provides an exceptional educational program aligned with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) syllabuses and enhanced by research and data. We cover key areas including English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Human Society and Its Environment, Creative Arts, and Personal Development, Health, and Physical Education. We also integrate the Religious Education Syllabus of the Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga through an approach infused with awe and wonder.
Our dedicated wellbeing and learning teams, including specialist literacy and mathematics teachers, a curriculum coordinator, a counselor, and inclusive education teacher and support staff, work collaboratively with the religion coordinator, assistant principal, and principal. Together, they design and implement educational opportunities that support our students, teachers, and families. Additionally, students enjoy regular library lessons, the integration of Information Technology, and specialist instruction in Sport, Health, Music, Drama, and Visual Arts.
